[Life in Bath] The different culture teach me.... @ Je suis Phoenix.

Good morning Bath,

The weather isn’t so good these days, always raining and cold, but we still can make fun in the class.

Today we are learning about “ BODY” , so Pete (our teacher) asked us to write as much as name of body and organ on the label paper, and after we exchanged to another team, then stick those on one of our team member at the right position. The model of our team was a boy from Oman called Omar.

Before I've had no chance to know a Muslim or people from all Mid-East Country, the only information to me was from the news.

We can image most of them were not so good.....

Because of that, when i just got here, i was a little bit afrid of them, but now i've realized how ignorant am I. Most of them are soooooo friendly and kind and very willing to make friends no matter where you came from. Their Country are very rich because of petrol, so that the goverment gives very nice benefit for their citizen, not only full of wars and weapons i thought before. for example, some of them were studied for medicine, as they said, the goverment provide free accommodation for them when they in the college, and the accommodation were the single room included bathroom, kitchen and furniture. How nice of that!!! also, most of them come to England are paid by goverment! OMG! i was very jealous of that!!

But! the weather is really hard to attract me live there, it could be over 50 degree in the summer !! though they said there's air-condition everywhere but I really can't image that!

Moreover, i've seen how they love their country and known how important to them for the religion. They have prenty of rules from their religion, might be strict, but most of that are trying to make people lives integrity and peace. Although I'd still seen some guys are doing something they can't do, like drinking alcohol, going to night club...etc., but i'd seen someone who's always follow their rule also, like my classmate Omar, I still remember, when i wanna help him to stick the label paper on his face, he stopped me, and insist to stick those by himself and other guys.

it was just a little thing, but sart to let me understart about their culture.

No matter which kind of Muslim I met in Bath, I've known how misunderstanding am I to them before, and I have to say, the news are not always right, but from now i think i've changed, having more internation mind and view to know more and more friends around the world.
